5. Assassin's Creed
Premiere – 5 January.
• If you've played the Assassin's Creed video game, you're probably looking forward to the release of the movie based on it. A lowly bartender, Callum Lynch, has been captured by a large corporation and placed in a car called the Animus. With her help, he was able to relive the memories of his ancestors, most of whom were assassins, and, having gained new knowledge, fight the Templar order that exists today.
4. "Nightlife"
Premiere – 12 January.
• Crime drama about America during Prohibition, the son of a policeman who moonlights as a bootlegger, and then "makes a career" to a famous gangster. Given that the producers of the film are Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck (who is also involved in the role of the main character) and Jennifer Davisson Killoran, the movie should turn out to be solid.
3. "Three X's: World Domination"
Premiere – 19 January.
• The extreme Xander Cage, who was thought to be dead, returns to the secret service to save the world from Pandora's box. This is a weapon of incredible power. And he is being hunted by a syndicate of world criminals, led by the alpha warrior Xiang.
2. "Resident Evil 6"
Premiere – 26 January.
• Without Alice, the world would have no hope of salvation. She will have to return to Raccoon City and thwart the plans of the Umbrella Corporation, which intends to strike the final blow against the survivors. Perhaps this is the last part of the franchise. It all depends on the US box office.
1. The Dark Tower
Premiere – 23 February.
• The list of expected films in February is headed by a film adaptation of the eponymous series of books by Stephen King. The main character is Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), a gunslinger who roams the post-apocalyptic world in search of the Dark Tower, the stronghold of the universe. Having risen to its upper floor, he will find out who controls the Universe and, perhaps, restore order in the world. Not all fans of The Dark Tower have taken kindly to the fact that the role of Roland was given to Idris Elba, because Roland, as depicted in the Stephen King novels, is white.

5. Logan "Wolverine 3"
Premiere – March 2.
In the expected new movies included the latest Wolverine story with Hugo Jackman. Logan has aged and is no longer as fast and agile as before. However, in the fight against the sworn enemy, he will have to remember the combat "youth" in order to get a chance to save loved ones.
4. "Road to Glory"
Premiere – March 2.
• Have you heard how gorillas and hedgehogs sing? Have you seen the pigs dancing? If not, then you will find out by watching this family cartoon about a koala named Buster. Together with his best friend, he organizes a musical battle.
3. "Fast and Furious 8"
Premiere – 13 April.
• Trailers of the expected films are unlikely to say anything new about the eighth part of the Fast and the Furious. Lots of beautiful cars, lots of pathos and action, lots of Dominic Toretto. Everything fans of the franchise love. And, of course, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will return as Hobbs, who finally stopped chasing Toretto and joined his team.
2. "Guardians of the Galaxy 2"
Premiere – May 4th.
• The second part of the adventures of the crazy defenders of the universe. This time around, a team led by Peter Quill must unravel the mystery of Star-Lord's true origins. And, admit it, did you miss Rocket Raccoon?
1. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales"
Premiere – May 25th.
• Luck seems to have betrayed Captain Jack Sparrow. He was hunted by an old enemy, Captain Salazar, under whose command are ghostly pirates. Only an artifact of great power, the trident of Poseidon, can save Jack. This item grants its owner complete control over the seas.
The most anticipated films of the summer
5 Wonder Woman
Premiere – 1 June.
• We've already seen Diana, the invincible Amazon princess in Batman v Superman. And now her image will be fully revealed in the new film. And that's a very good thing, given that Wonder Woman's "standalone adventure" will likely tie into another highly anticipated DC movie due out in September.
4. "Kingsman 2"
Premiere – 15 June.
• Agents of the secret organization Kingsman Eggsy and Merlin are on a mission that brought them to the United States. There they have to work side by side with a secret organization known as the Statesmen.
3. "Transformers 5"
Premiere – 22 June.
• The fifth film in the franchise, booed by many critics, and despite this, enjoying stable popularity with the audience. Faced with a new threat, Optimus Prime leaves Earth. He must find new allies, and the rest of the Autobots must stop Galvatron from building a space bridge.
2. "Spider-Man"
Premiere – 6 July.
• Young Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, embarks on his superhero career.
1. Alien: Covenant
Premiere – 3 August.
• The list with August movie dates is short. More precisely, it has only one date. However, this is more than offset by the popularity of the Alien franchise.
• The crew of the Covenant discover a planet on the far side of the galaxy that they calculate is an uncharted "Paradise". However, the only inhabitant of this dark and unsafe world is the android David, a survivor of the Prometheus expedition.

5. "It"
Premiere – 7 September.
• An adaptation of Stephen King's It. A terrible creature that exploits the fears and phobias of its victims, preys on small children. It appears in the form of a clown in order to quickly lure its future prey. Trailersn are better to watch separately from impressionable people.
4. Blade Runner 2
Premiere – October 5th.
• The first Blade Runner movie was nominated for two Academy Awards (Best Visual Effects and Best Artwork) and is currently regarded as one of the greatest films of all time and defining the cyberpunk genre. We will soon find out if the second part (and it is based on Philip K. Dick's book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep") will succeed in repeating the success of the first.
3. Thor: Ragnarok
Premiere – November 2.
• Thor returns to Asgard when his realm is threatened by Ragnarök, the Norse version of the apocalypse.
2. "Justice League. Part 1"
Premiere – November 16.
• After Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, director Zack Snyder will introduce Justice League, bringing together the best of DC Comics' best superheroes. Henry Cavill is expected to return as Superman, joined by Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). The heroes have to save the world from Darkseid, who is capable of destroying the entire galaxy.
1. Star Wars. Episode 8"
The release date is December 14th.
• The eighth part of the cult space opera completes the list of the most anticipated premieres. It will pick up right where Star Wars: The Force Awakens ended.
• Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) has assured fans that his character has an important role to play in the upcoming sequel, will have plenty of dialogue and be just as memorable as his famous lines from the original trilogy.
