  Ningbo Bank (formerly Ningbo Commercial Bank) is a shareholding commercial bank qualified as an independent legal entity. By the end of December 2010, Bank of Ningbo owned 7 branches, respectively, in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Wenzhou and Beijing, 1 bank branch of the head office and 97 branches. The bank was founded in 1997 as Ningbo Commercial Bank. In 2007, it changed its name to Ningbo Bank.
In recent years, Bank of Ningbo has been actively promoting management and financial technology innovation with efforts to establish five profit centers that include corporate banking, retail companies, individual banking, credit cards, and a financial center. Diversification of sources of profit has been achieved. At the end of September 2017, the Bank's total assets reached 953.064 billion yuan (approximately 147 billion US dollars).
