The krone is the national currency of Norway. Consists of 100 era. In circulation Banknotes in denominations of 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 kroons of issues of 1994 - 2013. A new series of banknotes is planned for release in 2017.

Obverse: in the central part of the Banknote against the background of the forest there is a portrait of Peter Kristen Asbjørnsen (January 15, 1812 - January 6, 1885), a Norwegian writer, scientist and collector of folk tales. The denomination is marked with "50" in the upper right and lower left corners of the banknote. Denomination in letters: "FEMTI KRONER" (fifty crowns) is indicated in the central lower part of the banknote.

Obverse: in the central part of the Banknote, against the background of the opera house, there is a portrait of Kirsten Malfried Flagstad (12 July 1895 - 7 December 1962), a Norwegian opera singer-soprano (recognized as one of the greatest performers in Wagner's musical dramas). The denomination is marked with "100" in the lower left corner of the banknote. Denomination in letters: "HUNDRE KRONER" (one hundred crowns) is indicated in the central lower part of the banknote.
