BELIZA banknotes - a catalog of coins of different countries: modern coins and banknotes of all countries of the world, samples, gold and silver coins, photos and description.
The Belize dollar is the currency of Belize. One Belize dollar is equal to 100 cents. In money circulation there are banknotes with denominations of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollars of various years of issue. Old banknotes issued after 1974 are a means of payment and are withdrawn from circulation as they wear out. Banknotes of the previous series have a similar design and differ in minor design details and somewhat different degrees of protection.
On January 1, 2012, a commemorative $ 20 banknote was issued, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Central Bank of Belize.
