The Bahamian dollar is the national currency of the Bahamas, introduced in 1966. Banknotes in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollars are in circulation. The Bahamian dollar is pegged to the US dollar on a one-to-one basis.

Obverse: on the right side of the Banknote there is a portrait of Sir Linden Oscar Pindling (March 22, 1930 - August 26, 2000) - Prime Minister of the Bahamas from July 10, 1973 to August 21, 1992, before that from January 16, 1967, the first black Chief Minister of the Colony of the Bahamas (since 1969 - Premier of the self-governing colony of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas). The denomination is indicated in the lower left and right corners of the banknote.
