Banknotes of the 2009-2013 series are currently in use in Chile: polymer - 1000, 2000 and 5000 pesos and paper - 10000 and 20000 pesos.

Obverse: on the right side of the Banknote there is a portrait of Ignacio Carrera Pinto, hero of the Second Pacific War (1879-1883). Below the portrait, in the lower center, there is an inscription: BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE (Central Bank of Chile). In the upper right corner, the denomination is indicated by the letters MIL PESOS (one thousand pesos). In the upper left and lower right corners, the denomination is designated by numbers 1000. On the left side of the Banknotes there are signatures of authorized persons.
Reverse: In the central part of the Banknote there is an image of the Torres del Paine National Park. Below the image in the lower left corner is the inscription: BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE (Central Bank of Chile). The denomination is indicated in the upper left and lower right corners of the banknote.

Obverse: on the right side of the Banknote there is a portrait of the “father” of Chilean independence, Manuel Rodriguez. Below the portrait, in the lower center, there is an inscription: BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE (Central Bank of Chile). In the upper right corner, the denomination is indicated by the letters DOS MIL PESOS (two thousand pesos). In the upper left and lower right corners, the denomination is marked with numbers 2000. On the left side of the Banknotes there are signatures of authorized persons.
