The Omani rial (Arabic: ريال عماني) is the currency of Oman. The Omani rial was introduced in March 1974 instead of the Said rial in a 1: 1 ratio.
In money circulation there are Banknotes in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 rials. 1 rial (2005), 5, 10, 20 and 50 rials (2010) and 1 rial (2015) is a jubilee series issued to commemorate the 35th, 40th and 45th anniversary of Oman's independence. These Notes are currently in circulation.
